Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound;
As sweet as Grandpa Garrett;
He always would laugh and always would cry
when you'd come down the path.

He owned a store and liked to sell and
give his grandkids treats;
He'd set right on that little stool and;
eat his pigs feet.

His family was his own life;
That was his big bright light;
He's happy where he is right now setting
in clouds of white.

He now jogs down the streets of gold
and lived a long life;
He dances hand in hand with his sweet son and wife.

Amazing Grace;
How sweet the sound;
Bright shining as the sun;
I've no less days to sing his praise
then when I first begun.

Sung to the tune of "Amazing Grace."
Words by Kimberly Kelly Ray
in rememberance of her great-grandfather.
They loved and were loved. They will be missed by all.
